INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT CEERI PILANI

Number of students: 69

Participants: Students of BCA 2nd Semester.

An industrial visit was organized by RPS Group of Institutions for the students of BCA 2nd Semester with the objective of providing practical exposure and experiential learning beyond the classroom environment.

A total of approximately 69 students participated in this visit. The students were accompanied and guided by the following faculty members from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering:

1.     Harsh Garg – ‘Assistant Professor’, CSE

2.     Ashu Lamba – ‘Assistant Professor’, CSE

·        The visit to Central Electronic Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani provided students with an opportunity to observe a premier institution known for its advanced laboratories, research culture, and technical infrastructure. The purpose of the visit was to help students understand how technical education is implemented practically through modern labs, research facilities, and innovation-driven learning environments.

During the visit, students were introduced to:

1.     Advanced computer and research laboratories

2.     Modern infrastructure and technical facilities

3.     Ongoing projects and research work

4.     Practical applications of programming and computing concepts

5.     Academic and research-oriented environment of a reputed institution.

Students interacted with the representatives and gained insights into the working of labs, project development, and the importance of innovation and practical learning. The exposure helped students understand how theoretical concepts studied in class are applied in real technical environments.

The visit proved to be highly informative and motivating for the students. It enhanced their interest in technical learning and encouraged them to focus on skill development and higher studies opportunities.

 Outcomes:

The industrial visit to (CEERI) Pilani was a valuable learning experience for the students of BCA 2nd Semester. It provided practical exposure, enhanced technical awareness, and inspired students to aim for excellence in their academic and professional careers. The visit was successfully conducted under the proper guidance and supervision of the faculty members.
