This outing aimed to provide students with an opportunity to unwind and strengthen their bonds outside the classroom.  On September 19, 2024, students from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and CSE with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) had the opportunity to visit DUCAT in Gurugram. This industrial visit offered a valuable platform for students to connect theory with practice, as they engaged with industry experts and explored cutting-edge technologies. The day was filled with interactive sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and insightful discussions, allowing students to deepen their understanding of AI and ML applications in real-world scenarios. The Computer Science & Engineering Department recently organized an exhilarating Internal Hackathon in preparation for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024. This event aimed to ignite innovation and foster collaboration among students, providing them with a platform to tackle real-world problems with creative technological solutions. Participants were divided into teams and given a range of challenges to address, encouraging them to apply their coding skills and problem-solving abilities in a competitive yet supportive environment. The hackathon not only honed their technical expertise but also enhanced their project management and teamwork skills. By simulating the conditions of the national hackathon, the event prepared students to showcase their talents effectively and build a strong foundation for SIH 2024.
