The Department of Computer Science & Engineering successfully organized a highly informative webinar on "Campus to Corporate" for CSE 5th and 7th semester students on November 5th, 2024. The session was led by Mr. Saurabh Mishra, a seasoned professional from Sopra Banking Software, who shared valuable insights into the transition from academic learning to professional life. Through his engaging presentation, Mr. Mishra discussed key industry expectations, essential skills, and effective strategies for students to adapt and thrive in the corporate world.  On October 10, 2024, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a recreational visit to Pratapgarh for CSE and BCA students. This outing aimed to provide students with an opportunity to unwind and strengthen their bonds outside the classroom. The visit included engaging activities and sightseeing, allowing students to explore the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the area. Overall, the trip was a refreshing break, fostering camaraderie and enhancing the students' overall college experience.

 The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a workshop on Full Stack Web Development for CSE and BCA students on October 14-15, 2024. This initiative was in collaboration with CETPA Infotech Pvt Ltd, and the resource person for the workshop was Mr. Nitin. The event provided valuable insights and practical knowledge to the participants, enhancing their skills in web development.

 On September 19, 2024, students from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and CSE with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) had the opportunity to visit DUCAT in Gurugram. This industrial visit offered a valuable platform for students to connect theory with practice, as they engaged with industry experts and explored cutting-edge technologies. The day was filled with interactive sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and insightful discussions, allowing students to deepen their understanding of AI and ML applications in real-world scenarios. This experience not only broadened their knowledge but also inspired them to think creatively about the challenges and opportunities in the tech industry.

The Computer Science & Engineering Department recently organized an exhilarating Internal Hackathon in preparation for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024. This event aimed to ignite innovation and foster collaboration among students, providing them with a platform to tackle real-world problems with creative technological solutions. Participants were divided into teams and given a range of challenges to address, encouraging them to apply their coding skills and problem-solving abilities in a competitive yet supportive environment. The hackathon not only honed their technical expertise but also enhanced their project management and teamwork skills. By simulating the conditions of the national hackathon, the event prepared students to showcase their talents effectively and build a strong foundation for SIH 2024.
